IT Technical Officer
Location: Cooma, with occasional travel, mostly within Snowy-Monaro region
Employment Type: Part-Time – 0.4 FTE - Initially full-time preferred
Note: Over time there is scope to grow as demand increases and / or additional duties are taken on
Salary: To be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience
Responsible To: Operations Manager
Responsible For: No direct reports, however regular work alongside other staff, including people with disability working in supported employment

Purpose and aims of the Role
This is a hands-on role with a focus on providing both level 1 and level 2 support, process improvement and delivery of high quality and reliable information technology. The IT Technical Officer will require the ability to understand how the IT function supports Cooma Challenge Limited (CCL) operations.
• Manage multiple information technology systems operated by CCL
• Review and recommend software and programs for use in the organisation
• Assist management about the company’s current and future IT structure
• Assist with managing the IT budget
• Liaise with external partners (outsourced IT providers)
